How Sugar Affects your Spine

With Halloween around the corner, there is going to be a lot of sugar intake. We often forget that there is more sugar we are eating than just candy such as pop, juice, yogurt, and more. The average person consumes about 19.5 teaspoons of sugar everyday. Too much sugar releases hormones in our body that cause our muscles and bones to tense up. It can even lead to unhealthy blood flow. Even worse, eating a lot of sugar continuously over time can lead to diabetes which then can lead to you gaining weight which puts pressure on your back. When you have a lot of pressure on your back, it causes pain.
